General Questions
Learn what Smart Hiring is and how the platform works.
Smart Hiring is a job discovery and application platform designed to help job seekers find employment opportunities and apply for available positions.
Job listings may include the job title, company name, location, work type, employment type, experience requirements, salary information, skills, application fee and application deadline.
Smart Hiring is generally a platform that publishes and facilitates access to job opportunities.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, Smart Hiring is not the employer offering the position.
The actual hiring decision is made by the relevant employer, recruiter or hiring organisation.
In general, you do not need to create a separate user account to apply for a job through Smart Hiring.
You can open an available job listing, review its details and complete the application form using the information requested.
This may change in the future if Smart Hiring introduces applicant accounts or additional features.

To apply for a job:

Yes. You may apply for multiple job opportunities if you meet their respective requirements.
Each application is treated separately and may have different requirements, deadlines or application fees.
Smart Hiring may restrict duplicate applications for the same job using the applicant's email address.
If you have already submitted an application for a particular job, you may not be able to submit another application using the same email address.
If you submitted an application by mistake or need to correct important information, please contact Smart Hiring.
Currently, submitted applications may not be directly editable by applicants.
If you entered incorrect information, please contact Smart Hiring as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee that submitted information can be changed after it has been forwarded or made available to the relevant hiring party.
Resume and Documents
Learn about supported files and what your resume should contain.
Depending on the current application system, Smart Hiring may accept resume files in formats such as:
Follow the file format and file size requirements displayed on the application form.
Your resume should generally include accurate and relevant information such as:
- Your name and contact details.
- Your professional experience.
- Your education.
- Relevant technical or professional skills.
- Relevant projects or achievements.
Always ensure that the information provided in your resume is accurate and truthful.
Application Fees and Payments
Information about fees, supported payments, failures and refunds.
No. Application fees are determined on a job-by-job basis.
Some jobs may be completely free to apply for, while other jobs may require an application fee.
The applicable fee should be clearly displayed before you proceed with a paid application.
Some job listings may require an application fee as determined by the platform or relevant hiring arrangement.
The fee, if applicable, will be displayed before payment is requested.
Applicants should carefully review the job information and applicable fee before completing a payment.
Payment methods depend on the payment gateway and payment options available at the time of application.
Smart Hiring may use third-party payment providers such as Razorpay to process application payments.
Available options may include cards, UPI, net banking or other methods supported by the payment provider.
If your payment fails, your application may not be submitted until the required payment is successfully completed.
Check your payment method and try again if the payment provider allows you to do so.
If money was deducted but your application was not successfully submitted, contact us with the relevant transaction details.
Refunds, where applicable, are handled according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances of the payment and the terms described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Review the Refund & Cancellation Policy before making a payment.
Job Status and Deadlines
Understand why listings close and what job status labels mean.
A job may not be accepting applications for several reasons:
- The hiring process may have closed.
- The application deadline may have passed.
- The position may have been filled.
- The job may have been paused.
- The job may have been removed or archived.
“Hiring Closed” means the employer or hiring team is no longer accepting new applications for that position.
This may happen because a candidate was selected, the role was filled, the process was cancelled or the employer otherwise stopped accepting applications.
“Expired” generally means the application deadline associated with the job has passed.
Applications may no longer be accepted after the applicable deadline.
Hiring Process
Learn about selection decisions, shortlisting and hiring timelines.
No. Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, selection, job offer, employment or any other specific outcome.
The final hiring decision is made by the relevant employer or hiring organisation.
If the hiring process includes status notifications, Smart Hiring may send an email when your application status changes.
Depending on the employer's process, the employer or recruiter may also contact you directly.
Ensure that the email address and phone number in your application are accurate.
Hiring timelines vary depending on the employer, position, number of applicants, interview process and other factors.
Smart Hiring cannot guarantee a specific response or selection timeline.
If you have not received a response, you may need to wait for the employer's hiring process to progress.
